For example, FaceBook cooperated with Intel to develop the data center rack in 2013, and Ciena acquired TeraXion high-speed optoelectronic component (HSPC) business in 2016. We believe that the R&D of silicon photonic technology requires excellent technical support and long-term and substantial capital investment. Companies with strong technology accumulation and sufficient funds are expected to emerge.
